Passed away suddenly at Durham Hospital on Thursday, October 11, 2018 in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of Andrea. Loving father of Kym (Doug Blackburn), Janice (Clark Therrien) and the late David. Cherished grandfather of Jaime (Willis) Thomas, Kathryn Preston (T.J. VanPelt) and great grandfather of Elizabeth, Brady, Corbin and Kaleb. Dear brother of Murray (Linda) and Les and brother-in-law of Madeline, Ruth, Ray, Ev (Willie) and Geynell. John will be lovingly remembered by his extended family and his many, many friends.

Cremation has taken place.
