Passed away peacefully on Monday, July 3, 2023 at the age of 90. Beloved husband of the late Shirley Ann Jackson. Loving father of Paul Jackson and Mark Jackson. Cherished grandfather of Carly Ann (Matthew) Fontes, Amanda (Derrick) Ricci, Matthew Jackson, Cory Jackson, Tara (Scott) Jackson-Kiyonaga and great-grandfather of Tiago Fontes, Avening Ricci, Aria Fontes, Liam Ricci and Camila Ann Fontes. Dear brother of Margorie Gillies. He will be lovingly remembered by the mothers of his grandchildren Ainsley Jackson and Jane Jackson and by his extended family and friends. Predeceased by his brothers Harold Jackson, Raymond Jackson and Glenn Jackson and sisters Hazel Gordon and Jane Seeley.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the Museum Room at the Shelburne Legion, 203 William Street, Shelburne on Sunday, July 23, 2023 from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m.
William was very fond of the Mission work that Bill Barwick has done and requested that donations in his honour be directed to help continue this Mission work. Funeral arrangements entrusted to McMillan & Jack Funeral Home, 291 Main Street East, Dundalk.
