Passed away suddenly at his home in Linwood on Friday, January 1, 2021 at the age of 69. Loving father of Joshua (Kathy) Thompson of Stouffville; devoted grandfather of Ronan and Rory; former husband of Cathy Thompson (Windgrad), step-father of Peter (Andrea) and Richard (Shelley); uncle of Jenn (Steve), Mike (Erin) and Greg (Cynthia); great-uncle of Ryleigh, Bradyn, Jaxyn, Jaykob, Benjamin and Everleigh; and forever friend of Mike and Maureen McMahon. Predeceased by his parents Verral and Ethel, and brothers Bill and John. Survived by sisters-in-law Ria Thompson of Whitby and Joanne Thompson of Dundalk.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will take place at a later date. If desired, donations to the Hospital for Sick Children would be very much appreciated.
