Obituary for Reginald James "Reg" Templeman

Templeman, Reginald “Reg” James
Passed away peacefully at St.Michael’s Hospital, Toronto on October 22, 2021 at the age of 76. Reg leaves behind his loving wife of 53 years Phyllis (Young), beloved son Daryl, daughter Tracy and grandson Kayle. Also missed by niece Sandra Moffat and nephew Charles Moffat. Born in Maxwell, Ontario, on December 21, 1944, Reg was the son of the late James “Jack” and Dorothy (Black) Templeman. Predeceased by half brother Bill Moffat and niece Patricia.
Reg’s personality could be described as many things, as an old fashion country boy and the strong silent type with a big heart. His sense of humour would be to tease people and give them a “hard time” which was also his way of showing affection. He was a hard worker, spending the last 27 working years as a millwright at the Goodyear Hose Plant in Collingwood. Reg enjoyed spending time with his family as well as many other things like camping, wood-working, fixing things (he was the family’s “Mr. Fix it”), playing cards with friends and listening to country music. Reg will be missed by many.
Reg’s wishes for cremation have been honoured. If desired, donations to St. Michael’s Hospital, the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Collingwood Hospice would be appreciated.
