It is with great sadness that the family of Peter Anthony Richards (December 15, 1940 – July 31, 2019) announces his passing. Peter was retired from Ford Canada and as City Councilor for the City of Brampton. He volunteered for many organizations throughout his life, including being a Director/actor with Dundalk Little Theatre and served as President of the Dundalk Legion for five years. He was awarded the Queen’s Jubilee Medal for his contributions to his communities. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Marnie, children Tim (Julie), Jacquelyn, stepchildren Heather (Colin) and Tim, sister Beverly, brother Lee (Heather), step siblings Rob and Karen, grandchildren Jennifer (David), Samantha (Kyle), Danielle, Justin, great grandson Kaidyn, and numerous caring nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, September 7, 2019 at 1:00 pm at McMillan & Jack Funeral Home, 291 Main Street East, Dundalk followed by refreshments and shared memories at the Dundalk Legion, 109 Proton Street North, Dundalk.
