Peacefully at Dufferin Oaks on July 15, 2022 in her 95th year. Eldest daughter of Mitchell and Alice Burnett. Predeceased by her husband Ross Lyon. Longtime companion of the late John Osland. Loving mother of Louise and Philip Martin and Alex and Judy Lyon. Proud grandmother of Suzanne (Dwayne), Dianna (Ian), Jamie (Priscilla) and Crystal (Charlie), Shannon (Erika) and Tara (Chris) and great-grandmother of Trent, Kiera, Sydney, Dallas, Brock, Carter, Jackson and Liam. Dear sister of the late Lillian Weatherall.
Friends and family will be received at the McMillan & Jack Funeral Home, 291 Main Street East, Dundalk on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 from 12:00 – 1:30 p.m. Funeral service to follow in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 p.m. Interment at Shelburne Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Dundalk Fire Department or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
