It is with great sadness to announce the passing of our mother Jacqueline “Jacqui” Rose Massa (nee Longo) on Thursday, October 26, 2023 at Brightshores Health System – Markdale in her 83rd year. Jacqui was predeceased by her husband Ernest “Ernie” Massa and her parents Anthony and Georgina Longo.
She is survived by her daughters Karen (Mark) Hannon, Katherine Ionno and Toni (Rick) Hannon. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Michael (Sabrina), Bryan (Nicole), Lee (Amber), Katie, Kelly (Joshua), Reid (Michelle), Clark (Paulina) and Kelsey (Colin) and her great-grandchildren Lauren, Luke, Boden, Blake, Kallie, Preston, Ainsley and Evi. Survived by her sister Theresa (John) Tensee and brother Joseph “Joe” (Shirley) Longo. Predeceased by her sisters Salvatora “Sally” (Paul) Upshall and her twin Josephine “Jo” Longo.
The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of Brightshores Hospital in Markdale for their wonderful care and compassion to our mother.
Interment and family Celebration of Life to be held in the spring 2024.
