Peacefully at Markdale Hospital on Monday, July 3, 2023 in his 65th year. Beloved husband of Susan. Devoted father of Giselle (Cory) Nickason and Evan Juneau. Loving brother of Jeannette Leroux (the late Pat), Marcel (Lorraine), Betty Putz (Floyd), Bernard (ReJeanne), Norbert (Dianne), Raymond (Lynda) and Paul (the late Patti). Dear son-in-law of Donald and Loreen Nixon and brother-in-law of David (Tammy) Nixon and Bill (Barb) Nixon. David will be remembered and missed by many nieces & nephews. He touched many lives, leaving loving friends from church to workplace.
Friends and family will be received at the McMillan & Jack Funeral Home, 291 Main Street East, Dundalk on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the Dundalk Wesleyan Church, 752202 Ida Street, Dundalk on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. Family interment at Bethel Cemetery. If desired, donations to Dundalk Wesleyan Church, Canadian Cancer Society or Markdale Hospital would be appreciated.
