Left us peacefully on January 15, 2021 in Meaford, Ontario. Charles arrived the son of Russell and Elsie Hawton on February 20, 1951 and went home to live in Feversham. He is survived by his sister Grace Sherson of Ravenna, brother, Ernie (Carol) Hawton of Melancthon and sister Nancy Bolen of North Bay. He is predeceased by brothers-in-law George Sherson and Wayne Bolen. Charles was “monkeys uncle” to Patti (Brent) Hargrave, Pam (Wayne) Taylor, Terri (Shawn) Murphy, Bill and Brian Hawton, Lori, Brent and Brad Bolen. He was a great uncle to 20 and great great uncle to 2 nieces and nephews.
He was an animal lover and Country music and dancing were his favorites. Thank you to the staff and residents of Community Living and all the staff at the Meaford Hospital.
There will be no service at this time due to COVID. Interment will take place in Maxwell Cemetery.
